Samenstelling:
- per 3 gram; 2085 mg Psylliumschil

Indicatie(s):
- Voor goed functionerende darmen. Bij dunne ontlasting als gevolg van een virale of gedeeltelijke infectie of door het eten van iets verkeerds. Bij obstipatie.
Eigenschappen per ingrediënt:
- Psyllium Husk heeft de vermindering dat het veel vocht kan opnemen. Bij dunne ontlasting neemt het overtollige darmvocht op en bij obstipatie maakt het - bij voldoende wateropname - de darminhoud zachter. Ook heeft Psyllium Husk een neutraliserende werking op gifstoffen in de darmen.
- Methylsulfonylmethaan is een organische zwavel en - naast een belangrijke minerale bouwstof - erg belangrijk voor ontgiftingsprocessen in het lichaam.
- Bentoniet bindt gifstoffen en zware metalen; zodat deze met de ontlasting uitgescheiden kunnen worden.
- N-Acetyl-Glucosamine is een belangrijke bouwstof voor het darmlijmvlies en draagt bij een snel herstel van de darmwand.
- Magnesium (als -citraat) en Magnesium fosforicum werken ontspannend; De magnesiumbehoefte is gelijktijdig bij dunne ontlasting.
- Enterococcus faecium Probiotica zijn goede darmbacteriën. De bacteriestammen zijn beschermd zodat ze goed de maag kunnen passeren zonder gedood te worden door het maagzuur. Goede darmbacteriën zijn van groot belang voor een goede opname van effectieve en een optimale weerstand. Deze goede darmbacteriën verlagen de zuurgraad in de darm. Ze producerende stoffen die ziekmakende bacteriën bestrijden; zo verminder je de kans op darminfecties. Daarnaast dragen ze bij aan een goede voedselvertering door de productie van enzymen en producenten ze kortketenige koolhydraten; een zeer belangrijke voedingsstof voor de darmcellen. Een goede conditie van de darmcellen is nodig om te voorkomen dat ziekteverwekkers door de darmwand in de bloedbaan terechtkomen. Ook het ontstaan van verleidelijk wordt in verband gebracht met een grote doorlaatbaarheid van de darmwand.
Dosering en toepassing:
- Tenzij de arts of therapeut anders voorschrijft.
- De optimale dosering 2 x daags:
- Hond > 25 kg 2 maatscheppen
- Hond 10-25 kg 1½ maatschep
- Hond < 10 kg en kat 1 maatschep
- 1 maatschep bevat ongeveer 3 gram.
- Als het in de praktijk lastig is om dit product meerdere malen per dag te dienen; volstaat 1 keer per dag of 1 keer per 2 dagen. Geef dan de maximale dosering van één dag. Ook dan is dit product effectief inzetbaar, maar kan de reactie iets langer uitblijven.
- Toediening Kan over het voer gegeven worden. Bevochtig het voer of het poeder zodat het niet uit de voerbak geblazen wordt. Geef het in het geval van obstipatie met voldoende water en zorg dat er altijd genoeg vers drinkwater beschikbaar is.
- Advies voor gebruik Indien uw hond of kat het product niet lekker vindt; kan het poeder door wat vlees; vis; yoghurt of ander lekkers worden gegeven. Zorg altijd voor voeding van een goede kwaliteit.
Hoe lang duurt de behandeling met dit product Het effect van de behandeling moet na 1 tot 2 dagen zeker zichtbaar zijn. Bij een acute klacht is de duur van de behandeling relatief kort. Dit kan variëren van 1 tot 3 weken. Ga na het verdwijnen van de klacht nog enkele dagen door met de productie van dit product. Bij een chronische aandoening is de duur van de behandeling langer. Na vermindering van de klachten kunt u overgaan

Best investment to ease the transition for a new puppy!
Pattern Name: Heartbeat Sheep Grey
This toy is well made, the heartbeat sound that it makes is strong, and my puppy has loved it from day one! I just got a new Chihuahua mix puppy and the transition into our house was made so much better by all of us (the puppy, me and my other dogs) getting a good nights sleep each night because of this toy. My puppy snuggles with it in her crate and falls asleep very quickly. I'm sure it helps her feel like she is not alone and is very soothing. This is hands down the best thing I bought when planning for my new pup!

Helpful Idea for Puppies, Even Though Mine Were Not Interested
Pattern Name: Heartbeat Sheep Grey
This heartbeat puppy toy is a really thoughtful concept for helping puppies feel comforted during crate training and sleep, especially for very young puppies adjusting to a new environment. The heartbeat feature and soft plush design are clearly meant to create a calming effect and ease anxiety during transitions. The toy itself feels soft and well made, and I can absolutely see why many puppies respond well to it.
In our case, my puppies personally were not very interested in it, but I honestly feel that was more about their individual personalities than the product itself. Because the concept is so good and many dogs may benefit from it, I still think it is worth trying, especially if introduced very early during puppy training and adjustment periods.

Did they add pheremones to this??

So when my puppy first came home to me I bought this to try to help him keep calm through the night. He wasn't able to sleep through the night, but he did sleep more than I had expected. The next couple of nights he was able to sleep through the night completely (but liked to wake up at 5 am...). Fast forward to a month later, and I no longer turn the heart on all the time (because I forget). But I did buy a re-chargeable heart because having to keep buying batteries is a pet peeve for me. He still loves to sleep with it as it's another snuggle spot that helps keep him warm (short haired mini dachshund, so not much fur to keep himself warm) in the kennel. During the day though, he loves to drag this thing out of the kennel and "wrestle" with it. He shakes it a lot like all dogs like to do to "kill" it, and he's chewed the tail and nose worn. But the reason I say it has pheremones is that at 10 weeks old (which was younger than my last dogs' puberty age), he's humping it like there's no tomorrow. If I need to get his attention, or keep him out of a certain area, all I need to do is bring this out of kennel, and he's off humping the stuffing out of it. His brother (who belongs to my mother and is from the same litter), does the same thing. So now I have to wonder if they added some pheremones to it so that it's really "lovable". It was actually pretty hilarious because I was face-timing my mother showing her my dog with this anxiety toy, and he decided to perform his first humping act on air. So I'm not sure I can say it did it's main job to calm anxiety, but it did act as companion (in more ways than one) to my dog. My dog is almost 4 months old now and this toy is still going strong... well, the neck could use a sew, and the tail is on it's last leg, but he loves his girlfriend just the way she is.

Heartbeat stops working after a few seconds

It's a really cute toy. The heart beats only for a few seconds then stops. I thought about exchanging it, but reading the reviews it looks like it is an issue with the mechanism itself. I found a pack of 2 replacement hearts from another company and so far it seems to be working.

Anxiety Relief for Elderly Dog

My son and daughter-in-law's 13 year old Chihuahua has been suffering from separation anxiety, and just general anxiety during the covid19 lockdown. While she's in dental school, he's been living with us full time, and she was living at school during the week and with us on weekends. But with campus closed down, there's full-time school anxiety from doggie Mom, and going to work in a plague anxiety from doggie Dad. And nobody has much time for poor stressed out doggie, who barks and whines and is generally unpleasant. The only thing that seems to calm him down is to hold him. All. Day. Long. None of us has time.
I decided to see if what works for puppies might work for an old man dog too. Guess what, it does! I started by holding the dog and the lamb on my lap for an evening while watching TV. The next morning I put the lamb in a bed next to my computer while I worked, and he climbed into the bed himself. He never would have done that before! You can't see the lamb in the picture, it's tucked under the canopy. The heartbeat is very relaxing- you do hear it, but it's more like you feel it than hear it, really. I have to admit that the first night when I was holding him, the heartbeat put me to sleep too. When my daughter-in-law came down for lunch, she took dog and lamb back up with her, and he slept with the lamb all afternoon and let her study without interruption.
I don't know how long the batteries will last, or how hard they will be to change, but so far this has been a real comfort to an anxious old man dog.
ETA- I've ordered batteries (40 for $6.99), and I may order another lamb for upstairs so we don't have to remember whether it's on Mom & Dad's or Grandma's floor. He's a much happier dog.
