The PRS Dead Spec Silver Sky is a peek into John Mayer's illustrious Dead & Company tour and an homage to Jerry Garcia's legendary "Alligator" guitar tones. Derived from the innovative minds of PRS Guitars and crafted in collaboration with Mayer, the Dead Spec Silver Sky is a limited edition, totally unique, limited instrument that will excite both players and collectors.

The foundation of the Dead Spec Silver Sky is rooted in its lightweight Swamp Ash body, a divergence from the traditional alder. Finished in a sleek Moc Sand satin nitro, this thin veneer beautifully melds with the ash wood grain, making a visual statement, furthered by a rosewood fingerboard topped with iconic PRS Birds inlays. Its Flat Top carve takes the guitar's aesthetics to the top notch, presenting a contemporary but timeless look.

The Dead Spec sports a Maple neck, with a distinctive 635 JM-R profile, and offers a comfortable playing experience with its 7.25" fingerboard radius and PRS Medium Wire frets to ensure precise intonation and easy navigation across all 22 frets. Equipped with three custom 635 JM pickups - bridge, middle, and neck - the Dead Spec Silver Sky makes sure player's tonal palettes are as versatile as the player themselves. These pickups are truly the heart of the Dead Spec, delivering crystal highs and deep, thick lows: a signature of John Mayer's tone and playing. The Satin Nitro finish adds a touch of elegance while allowing the guitar to breathe, upping its tonal resonance.

In true PRS fashion, the Dead Spec Silver Sky is not just an average guitar, it's a unique expression of craftsmanship. A modified Gen III Tremolo, now surface-mounted for a string-through hardtail setup, delivers a new warmth and resonance. The brass nut and retainer bar contribute a piano-esque tone, while the totally unique Alembic Blaster preamp with a brass-plate jack plate introduces a touch of magic, boosting output and halting the cable capacitance conundrum many players find themselves in, with adjustable gain.

With only 1,000 of these available, the Dead Spec Silver Sky is also a collector's item and a piece of PRS history, marrying technical precision with artistic flair.

Great wrist rest with a modern look!
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Medium, Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Medium
This is a great looking addition to my desk. It’s a just the right length to fit my keyboard and I love the walnut coloring! It’s real wood and has nice rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from moving around. The angle is nice for my wrists and it’s easy to clean with just a damp cloth. If I ever wear this one out (which I doubt) I’d buy another!

Super comfortable - much better than memory foam wrist rests!
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large, Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large
Get this wrist rest - you won't be disappointed. Had ergonomic keyboards and have tried memory foam rest in the past and this is much better. Smooth wood, perfect height and very supportive to keep wrists in neutral position when typing. Got the 17.3" and like that there's ample room to not feel squashed, but probably could have done with the medium length. Great angle for my mechanical keyboard. Love it!

What an excellent wrist rest! Except for this one thing....
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large
This is a solid piece of wood with great quality. Fantastic large rubber grips on the bottom (left and right sides only). Pro: I use it for editing and gaming. And though I thought the wood might be a bad choice in the long run, it turns out it's pretty nice. Not as comfortable as a gel rest but I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. I buy things for function AND aesthetics. I love how this looks. The uniqueness is really something. I got the natural one instead of the black so that the grains and lines can be easily seen. Con: Unfortunately, after almost 2 months, the wood has warped some. Not enough to effect my typing but, enough that I notice it. The warp is the kind where the opposite angled corners go up and down. While the other 2 corners are fine. In my case, the top left and bottom right, when pressed independently, rock the wrist rest. The top right and bottom left stay grounded. This is why I took a star off. Because there's no way this should be happening. So, looks and quality are up there. The rubber grips are solid. Why it's warping is puzzling to me. NO liquid wasted on it. Or, extreme temperature changes have happened. I've made sure the rubber grips. And that the surface the rest sits on (a glass mouse scrolling top by Superglide) is clean. Yet, I get this slight rocking. It bugs me this all happened right after the return window closed. I would've simply exchanged it. I love it too much. I mean, this is, again, a SOLID piece of wood. Maybe this won't happen for everyone. I mean, it's wood. Eh I would still recommended this regardless.

Fantastic Product
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Small
This is very nice! I type all day for my job and this made a big difference. It's very comfortable and supportive. Im allergic to latex rubber, which is in most gel options. It's really nice to have a safe, effective alternative

Beautiful, Solid Real Wood Wrist Rest
Color: Walnut Wood, Size: Large
This wooden wrist rest feels premium and the finish is super smooth — it’s noticeably nicer than foam or gel pads. Real wood looks great on my desk and still feels comfortable during long typing sessions. Definitely worth it if you want something stylish and functional.
